Genre Gems

In this series of reviews I will be looking at some of my favorite films that I find to have been neglected, under appreciated or should simply be given some extra recognition for its part to play in cinematic history. Now some of these will certainly not be unfamiliar and as such I should point out that I mean to say they were under-appreciated or under-recognized as opposed to not appreciated or recognized at all. For every Genre I will pick a film for that film I will write a simple reflection on its qualities while trying to avoid spoiling its surprises as much as I can. If your in a hurry and don’t have the time, know that all these films come with a high recommendation and a sticker stating ‘Must See’. Some of them you may not even like, but all of them are worth the watch if only so that you know that you watched it.
